foodie friday #4

Guest chef Di, The Blue Ridge Gal, sent me this photo and recipe (check out her blog here)

Oh boy.... had to dig to find this, but there it was on top of the fridge in the ratty old basket I keep recipes in.  I brushed off the dust and here ya go:

Pistacio Bundt Cake

1 Yellow or White cake mix

Add and mix into cake mix until smooth.

1/2 Cup Oil
4 Eggs
1/2 Cup Orange Juice
1/2 Cup Water
Green Food Coloring (just a couple of drops)
1 Pkg. Pistacio Pudding Mix

Place 2/3 of batter into greased bundt pan.

Add 3/4 cup Hershey's chocolate syrup to the remaining 1/3 batter. (We use the Special Dark Hershey's Syrup)
Mix
Pour over green batter which is already in the bundt pan and cut through with a knife to marble it.
Bake at 350 for 45-50 minutes.
Pour additional chocolate syrup over baked bundt cake to frost.  (I just drizzled it directly from bottle onto cake)

Nice moist cake and pretty for St. Pat's Day, Christmas, or any other holiday.

Very yummy!
