Bastet the Love Bug
Wants to See Home!
Bastet, born with a partial left eye, was the friendliest stray cat ever. She leapt right into foster life, happy to be among people and her interesting new indoor world! Mt. Olive TNR Project in New Jersey, a Best Friends No More Homeless Pets Network partner, sponsored eye surgery for Bastet, to prevent infection and help her get adopted. Having only one eye hasn't stopped Bastet's playful, happy spirit. Once the fur grows back in, she will be a gorgeous love bug, ready to fit right in to her new adoptive home!
Unfortunately, Bastet's good eye remained dilated after the surgery. It means she has a little trouble seeing things far off, like toys that roll too far away. An opthalmologist will try to fix this, but Bastet's foster mom says the sweet girl plays, eats, and snuggles just like before the operation. She's a normal kitty with a unique point of view!
Bastet is also FIV positive, but she is so docile and gentle that she lives safely with her foster mom's other FIV negative cats. Can you help Bastet find a home just right for her? She wants belly rubs and room to play. Pretty simple requirements for a great lifetime companion!
Please go to Mt. Olive TNR, to fill out an adoption form, if you or someone you know has a home for beautiful Bastet. You can also share her Petfinder link, but she's so much cuter in real life. This Budd Lake, New Jersey girl wants to see you up close and personal! She'll melt your heart. And win your love.
Together, we can Save Them All®.
